# Jewish Messiah

A sermon outline of Rev. James R. Reynolds, Sr.

## Introduction

THEME: According to the Scriptures Jesus is the Messiah; the Son of God manifested in the flesh.

> Proverbs 18:13 &mdash; He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

## 2. God is One &mdash;

When Scripture says &quot;one&quot; it is speaking of a compound unity. It cannot be anything less.

> Genesis 1:1 &mdash; In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

## 5. The Birth of the Messiah

forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the
Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two
weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in

proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing,
saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath
given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and He hath charged me to
build Him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.&quot;</p>

	from as stated by Daniel the prophet from the &quot;Going forth of the

	457 B.C. issued the command in writing to build God a house in
	Jerusalem.</p>

	years) 483 years would bring you to the year 26 A.D. which was
	around the year that the Messiah would be anointed.</p>
