**Text**: Proverbs 23:26

My son give me thine heart.

## I. The Human heart is not by nature in God's possession. 

Man is in his unregenarate state is a sinner by nature. He is also a sinner by CHOICE. Isaiah 53:6 Born with a WARPED natue, but also made WRONG choices.


## II. God's Request is Founded on Legal Grounds

We are God's by Creation, He made us.

We are His by REDEMPTION. 

We are twice His. He made us and He bought us.


## III. God's Request is Founded on Filial Relation.

"MY son"

## IV. God's Request is Founded on God's Love.

## V. God's Request is Based on Willingness.

What God claims I yield;

What I yield He accepts;

What He accpets He fills:

What He fills He uses;

What He uses He blesses.

The touch of the master's hand makes all the difference.
