Character over Marble

Every man should leave a monument behind him, in the mind of his friends.
A Good Character is the best Tombstone.
Carve your name on hearts and not on marble.
Better to give bread to the poor than stone’s to the dead.
Better to visit while they are alive than to bring flowers when their dead.
