The Responsibility that Comes with Being Strong

Romans 15:1--We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

 

INTRODUCTION - Complaints that we have nothing to give.

 

 

I. WHAT IS IN YOUR HAND?

 

A. Moses - "A Rod" - Exodus 4:1-4

 

 

B. The Bride - "A Vineyard" S.O.S. 1:5-7

-My Own Vineyard I have neglected.

 

 

C. Elijah - "An Anointing" - I Kings 19:1-4-9-13

--What does thou here Elijah?

--In the lowest valley of his ministry, "Go Anoint a King for Syria, a King for Israel and a Prophet for the next Generation!"

 

 

II. WHEN CAN YOU DO?

 

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Luke 16:1-8 (The Unjust Steward that did good.)

 

Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

 

CONCLUSION--

USE WHAT GOD HAS PUT IN YOUR HANDS.
