Lord Jesus make me holy as You are holy.

I know that it is not a checklist that I keep track of. I know also it is not a destination in this life I shall fully reach.

I am not giving sin license but quite the opposite Father. Cause me to see in my heart where I am unlike You. Encourage me to sell out in my pursuit of You. May I never say I am good enough. May I never in selfish desire anything consume.

Dear Jesus it is true anything placed before You is sin. Knowing this my journey to Gods holiness can begin.

Cause me to be holy as You are holy. Take more of me each day that I might be filled with more of You.

As I study Your word cause me more of Your truth to consume that I see my lack. Give me the wisdom to deal with that which is slack.

As my journey continues in You I know I shall look and talk less and less like the world. If this does not happen then I am not found in pursuit of You.

Father You have promised me war and I do not make my peace with where I am at. I love not this world or anything it holds.

Cause me to chase Your approval Father in the light of Your word.

Thank You for the leaders You have placed over me that skillfully wield the Spirits sword. So Lord remove more of me each day that I may alway travel on the path of holiness.

When I kneel physically at Your throne that is when I will have attained to Your holiness. Not by anything I have done but because of the shed blood of Your only Son.
