STUDY QUESTIONS—CHAPTER 7

  1. The knowledge of Jesus Christ is free and that this is the highest, and most special truth is generally obvious.

Dave Breese says, “…the best things in life are not only free, but they are usually obvious.”  Think about that.  How might this statement be applied?

  1. Acts 26:26  “For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.”

Acts 1:3  “To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:”

1 Cor. 15:6  “After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

John 5:31  “If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.”

John 10:25  “Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.”

Romans 1:20  “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

What verse(s) of Scripture declares that no one has “inside information” of God and His power?  (Write it, or them, out in entirety.)

  1. “…What saith the scripture?..”  (Romans 4:3)  Reply with Scripture!

What is the proper response to the claim of an individual to a new divine discovery?

  1. In your own words, tell why the cults are usually just an intermediate step into the occult.

  1. Historical facts witnessed, documented, and evidenced “by many infallible proofs.”

What are the Biblical, or divine, rules of evidence?  (List them.)
