Psalm 95

Psalms 95:7—For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice,                                                             

1. The Lord will Reward the Overcomer for listening

Rev. 2:7—He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

b. Their Responsibility is to Love Truth

• Test their Dedication  2:2-6
• Test their Deeds         2:6

They demonstrated their works, Labor and Patience

Rev. 2:2—I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience,

(1Th 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father);

2Th 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

2Cor. 8:7—Therefore, as ye abound in everything, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

Php. 1:9—And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

 

• We must abound in everything not just in a few areas.

 

• By the Grace of God we will abound in everything.

 

 

Ex. 33:19—And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will  be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Rom. 11:22—Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Rom. 15:14—And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

 Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

 Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

 Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

 Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

 Eph 6:23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

 Eph 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen    

“Sincerity” Genuine honest earnest serious

Undecaying  immortality unending  incorruption

• Our love must be pure
• Our Love must be from Him to be Pure

Sinful Man was banned from the tree of life -----Overcomer restored

Re 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Ephesus is a heap of ruins

No love no life

Overcome have love have the tree of life

4. Witness
5. Bring them in
