SOS 3:9,10 Solomon's Chariot

Preached by James R. Reynolds, Sr. on May 16, 1979.

Song of Solomon 3:9,10 — King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon. 10 He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

Introduction

The chariot is an ancient means of conveyance. As we look into the Scripture, I pray that you see what God has provided for them that love Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9 — But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

BUT

1 Corinthians 2:10 — But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

The lesson here has much to do with the "hidden things."
