Song of Solomon 1:16

Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green.

There is a place in God where we find rest. Wherever there is green grass there is some type of moisture. The moisture brings a coolness and a refreshing.

Psalm 23:2

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

The whole basis of our faith rests in Jesus Christ. He is the Rock of Ages.

Genesis 28:10, 11

And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.

And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

John 1:51

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Song of Solomon 1:17

The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.

Cedar is that which is most durable and has a beautiful fragrance. The cedar wood speaks of the pure life of Christ.

The blood of Jesus Christ is our Canopy.

Exodus 12:13

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
