I. Finding and Losing – Losing and Finding
Matthew 10:39 — He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:25 — For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Mark 8:35 — For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Luke 9:24 — For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
John 12:25 — He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Luke 17:33-37 — Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Matthew 25:1 — Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Matthew 25:46 — And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 24:4 — And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:8-13 — All these are the beginning of sorrows. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

- The other one is trying to wake up
Mark 13:35 — Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping,. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

1 Samuel 8:7 — And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
1 Samuel 10:19 — And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.

James 4:14 — Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Matthew 6:25 — Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
1 Timothy 6:18 &mmdash; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
