God Will Keep His Promise Concerning the Last Days
GOD WILL KEEP HIS PROMISE CONCERNING THE LAST DAYS
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

I GOD HAS AN APPOINTED TIME
A. The vision is yet for an appointed time.
B. At the end it shall speak
C. Daniel’s vision sealed until the time of the end
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

D. In the evening time
1. It shall be made light.
But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

2. Elijah prayed down the fire at the time of the evening sacrifice.
And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. – I Kings 18:36

II. THOUGH IT TARRY
Tarry - To stay in expectation; to wait.
A. God knows the condition of the church.
1. Lukewarm and dead.
2. Filled with the world.
B. There have been waves of glory.
C. There is a dry season before the final rain of the harvest.
1. The rain came in due season.
2. The fruit needs the rain to ripen.
3. There will be a harvest of souls.
III. WAIT FOR IT
A. Wait for the promise of revival.
1. Tarry in prayer.
2. Anticipate a move of God.
B. Pray specifically for a move of God.
1. According to the Word.
2. Azusa came through specific prayer.
3. O Lord Revive thy work – Hab. 3:2
C. God’s Word will come to pass.
1. Receive by faith.
2. It will surely come.
