Heavenly Faith is Received in Heavenly Places
HEAVENLY FAITH IS RECEIVED IN HEAVENLY PLACES
Eph. 2:1-7
The natural mind does not receive from God. An earthly plane can not produce Heavenly faith. Flesh promotes flesh. Carnal thinking will result in doubt and unbelief.
I. MAN CAN NOT RECEIVE FROM GOD IN AN EARTHLY
PLANE
A. Sin separates from God
1. God does not bless sin
2. Sin brings death
B. Fear is the opposite of faith
1. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin – Rom. 14:23
2. Fear does not reach out in faith
3. The carnal mind produces fear
a. Vain imaginations
b. Fear produces unbelief
4. Fear is not of God
C. Unbelief can not receive from God
1. God has bound Himself to His Word
2. God requires faith – Heb. 11: 6
D. Man must reach into Heaven to receive from God
II. THE SAINT IS CALLED TO HEAVENLY PLACES
A. Above the beggarly elements of the world
1. Cast aside the beggars coat
2. Free from the law of sin
B. Above the kingdom of darkness – Eph. 1: 20-23
1. Far above ALL PRINCIPALITY
2. Every knee shall bow to the authority of Jesus
3. The devil has been defeated
C. Set our affection on things above
1. This world is temporary
2. Lay up treasure in heaven
D. In Christ Jesus
1. Fellowship with Jesus
2. Receiving the nature of Christ – II Peter 1:4
E. Jesus is the Author of our Faith – Heb. 11:2
1. Let this mind be in you – Phil. 2:5
2. The living Word produces a living faith
F. Pray through to the Heavenly realm
1. Sin must be dealt with
2. Receive God’s faith
III. THE RESULTS OF HEAVENLY FAITH
A. Receive from God
1. The blessing of God
2. Touch God for others
B. A Heavenly vision
1. See as God sees
2. Looks beyond current circumstances
C. Placed into the Full Inheritance
1. Reserved for the end-time – I Peter 1:4
a. In the ages to come – Eph. 2:7
b. Time is running out
2. Only SONS will be placed
D. Walk with God – Heb. 11:5
1. A need to understand God’s plan
2. Translation will require heavenly faith
E. Manifest the Life of Jesus
1. Walk in the Power of Jesus
2. Produces Heavenly results
