I. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR

 

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  (Joh 8:44)

C. Distorts truth

 

1. Mixture and compromise

2. False prophets

3. The devil hates truth

 

D. Many are being deceived in these last days

 

1. The very elect – Mt. 24:24

2. A Great falling away – II Thes. 2:3

               

 

II. SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR

 

A. As a roaring lion

 

1. Preys upon the weak

2.

 

B. He is a thief

 

1. Lock the doors

2. Be on guard

 

C. Subtle devices

 

III. THE DEVIL WANTS YOU

 

A. Attacks men of God

 

1. The accuser of the brethren

2. Continued attacks

 

B. Be sober

 

1. Aware

2. Not given to his devices

 

C. Be vigilant

 

1. Keep the doors locked

2. Cautious

3. Ready to fight the enemy
