His Watchmen are Blind

His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.  (Isa 56:10)

 

Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.  (Isa 56:11)

 

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.  (Jer 6:16)

 

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.  (Jer 6:17)

 

Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.  (Jer 6:18)

 

Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.  (Jer 6:19)

 

 

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.  (Isa 58:1)

 

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  (2Ti 4:1)

 

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  (2Ti 4:2)

 

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  (2Ti 4:3)

 

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.  (2Ti 4:4)

 

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.  (2Ti 4:5)

 

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.  (Eze 16:49)

 

And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;  (2Pe 2:6)

 

 

A MODERN DAY SODOM AND GOMORRAH

 

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  (Luk 17:26)

 

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  (Luk 17:27)

 

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  (Luk 17:28)

 

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.  (Luk 17:29)

 

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.  (Luk 17:30)

GREEDY, SELFISH, NOT CARING FOR OTHERS

 

Like sin will bring like judgement
