Probably only those who have preached can appreciate what I'm trying to say.

But I trust that we can relate something to you tonight to encourage you to believe God.

Mark the ninth chapter verse 23: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, [pause] somethings are possible [pause]
That is a blank check. Signed and endorsed by the Christ of Heaven. With one stipulation, that you believe. If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

I want to touch on the three points that I see there:

The Possibility of Faith
The Lord has reserved all of His promises for those that believe and He has left none for those that don't believe.
....
He probabily won't because he has not reserved anything for unbelief.
...
I'm trying to believe, but I can't seem to believe.

You can believe if you want.
...
Have compassion on us an help us.

Jesus rebuking his desciples for unbelief.
O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. [Matthew 17:17]

The Father said to Jesus

If thou canst believe. He was saying "I can do something and you can believe."

You can believe.
...
God never puts something to us that we cannot do.
...
It is not that you can't. The Possiblity of faith is there. It is because you won't.
...
We can believe if we will meet the requirements.
...
Now listen to me. Faith worketh by love. Jesus said, If you love me keep some of my commandments [sic].

Ten Commandments unconstitutional.

No wonder the young people are so imbalanced.

My daddy wasn't all that mean, but when we'd been sassy ... sassed mother ... she put the ... on your backsides ... and she told you ... You do it again and I will give you some more ... she was straightening us out ... Someebody said, You will warp their character. No she was trying to straighten us out.

and Faith works by love.

You can believe if you want to but you gotta ... help thou my unbelief. That is where we need to come. ... he will help you. He will give you faith.

He will never base His promises on faith if you couldn't believe.

The Principle of Faith (~16 min)

Faith cometh by hearing.

You need more word.
...
I lost my faith. Is it because you lost the hearing of the Word of God.
...
Unadultereated, unmixed, unhomogenized Word of God ... I believe God!
...
The Spirit of God helps you and encourages you.
...
Jesus by His Spirit comes by and enables you to believe God.
...
God by His Spirit put faith in your heart to believe Him.
....
Faith comes by hearing and fasting. And I didn't say praying fast. I said prayer and fasting.

Everyone is rushing ... We have to get there fast.
