Title: The Ultimate Request

Text: Proverbs 23:26

My son give me thine heart.

I. The Human heart is not by nature in God's possession.

Man is in his unregenarate state is a sinner by nature. He is also a sinner by CHOICE. Isaiah 53:6 Born with a WARPED natue, but also made WRONG choices.

II. God's Request is Founded on Legal Grounds

We are God's by Creation, He made us.

We are His by REDEMPTION.

We are twice His. He made us and He bought us.

III. God's Request is Founded on Filial Relation.

"MY son"

IV. God's Request is Founded on God's Love.

V. God's Request is Based on Willingness.

What God claims I yield;

What I yield He accepts;

What He accpets He fills:

What He fills He uses;

What He uses He blesses.

The touch of the master's hand makes all the difference.
